Shihan Ric Yancey

• 5th Degree Black Belt, Kenpo Karate.

Shihan Yancey began training at Peoples Kenpo Karate in 1993 and earned his 1st Degree Black Belt in March of 1997. As a teenage black belt, Shihan Yancey headed up our junior program until he left for college. After college he returned to Peoples Kenpo and began teaching full time. Soon after he was elevated to the position of Chief instructor. The winner of several Jiu-Jitsu competitions Shihan Yancey holds rank in both Judo and Jiu-Jitsu. A well rounded martial artist Shihan Yancey can do and teach it all!
